Ok Shelly, here is what I recieved from Zone Labs :
One of the primary causes of a corrupt database is an abnormal shutdown like a power outage or system crash. They can also get corrupt during upgrades or downgrades if you do not choose a 'clean' install. However, some users have their "Wait to Kill" values set to low which means ZA does not have time to write it's files properly on shutdown. To ZA, it is the same as a crash.
You might try to increase the value by changingthe value of the RegKey "WaitToKillServiceTimeout", which you can find here "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Contr ol" from whatever it is to a higher number. For example, if it is 2000, try 5000. If it is 7000, try 12000. And so on.
