I don't know because I didnt install Norton until my computer got hijacked I was using Shaw secure and I think it got deleted when I copied my other drive to the drive where I installed Shaw sesure. I have a log copy of that previous scan, Can I post here or at the other board? I just want to clean out the system and start fresh.

ok, lets do this one step at a time and go as slow as nessecary. I want to try this first so please read and carry out as directed.

Download TDS-3 trojan scanner from http://tds.diamondcs.com.au/index.php?page=download

Then you will need to manually update it so follow the instructions given here
http://tds.diamondcs.com.au/index.php?page=update

Now open the program, pause until its finished its mini test then click system testing / full scan

If anything is found, right click and select delete to each when the scan completes itself.

Do I delete everything that it finds. I deleted the 2 files where it says Suspicious and the other 3 says Positive Identification, the files are Altnet.Adware.b and the other 1 is Altnet.Adware.a[dll]

Now you will have to uninstall norton from add/remove programs then reinstall it to get it back working.

I just installed it back and I tried to do the Live update and it still doesn't work. When I was installing it, it had a message saying that I have an anti virus aslready installed and it is recomended to uninstall it and reboot but I dont know which anti virus I have, I did have Shaw Secure but I think it got reinstalled. Also when I was uninstalling Norton I got a message saying Failed to unregister file types

Try uninstalling live update from add/remove programs then and reinstall it after a reboot.
