Is this for real???

I just got this in an email today ... is this for real?? Is this worm a threat to me if I dont 'purchase' their update version????

ZoneAlarmŽ Antivirus will protect you against the BlackWorm (MyWife.d) scheduled to attack this Friday, Feb. 3, 2006

Severity: High Risk

BlackWorm is a new and potentially destructive Internet worm currently making its way around the globe. It is infecting users via e-mail and is scheduled to destroy all Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, PSD and ZIP files on Feb. 3.

If you upgrade to ZoneAlarm Antivirus before Feb. 3, it will detect and remove existing BlackWorm infections and prevent future infections.

Free ZoneAlarm Firewall will not protect you from BlackWorm. Only ZoneAlarm premium products (ZoneAlarm Antivirus, Anti-Spyware, PRO, and Internet Security Suite) will protect against the BlackWorm.

No that will be fine...If your are worried about it get a free 30 day evaluation of a virus program like Mcafee http://64.233.179.104/search?q=cache...u&ct=clnk&cd=1

update it and by the time it runs out Micrsoft will have a fix for you to download.I think this whole affair is being blown out of preportion. Its no worse that any bug thats out there now.

Thanks Pancake .. I trust everyone's judegement here ,, so think I will just hang with it and see what happens. I am not one to open emails unless I know who they are coming from, so .. if that is where the problem lies, then I should have no worry

Thanks again hon - always appreciate the advice and help here (((hugs)))~der~
