Question about BitDefender
My BitDefender is just about to expire. I am using the Free Edition. I went to the site but am not clear - can I get the Free edition again, do I need to now purchase it or what?

hmmm .. maybe I figured it out? I have the 7.2 version and I see the one offered now is the 8 version - so do I just start over with a new download?

Your best bet is to uninstall the old version and then see if they will give you the new one.In some cases they leave a trace in the registry so that they can see if you have downloaded one before.You may have even given them your email address when you installed the old version.You may have to do the same again when you try to install the new one and it may tell you that your trial period is over.See how it goes.
