Exclamation what antivirus and anti spyware shall is the best out there?
Hi all,

Just wondering what everyone is using these days for antivirus and spyware protection. I have two computers that both require virus and spyware protection so if anyone could recommend good FREE programs that would be great. I did read the other post on Anti Virus Software but its pretty old and just wondering what is the best at the moment.

That is really hard to say. The only thing that really differentiates is when the updates are released and thats every day. Just pick one and stay with it. The rest is up to you as far as where you browse, what you download and whether or not you scan a file before unpacking it.

Ive used Ad-Aware, Avast and Sygate Firewall for years, But Im trying BitdDefender right now.
So far it seems as good as the previous combination.

Nod32 is the best. add me on msn and ill send you it if you want. (makes the trial last for 5 years)

There is a plenty AV programs these days. I personaly like AVG and nod32 the nost. Feel free to choose. If you don't like one, try another. Hmm somewhere I saw rankings... here they are check here: http://www.2-spyware.com/compare2.php

Norton 360 seems like its user friendly to beginners, and appears to do a decent job as well.

just used one and keep with it
i used avg and update each sunday
