I just upgraded a friends PC from 98 to XP Pro. Before I did, I uninstalled everything I could from it that remotely suggested AOHell. I even edited the registry. Got the upgrade done, only to open IE and still have that awful wording at the top "Internet explorer provided by AOL". I can't it out of there, anyone have a suggestion? It's an older Dell Dimension with a P3. It's not so much the wording that bothers me, but AOL is still in control of it.
