Just read an article where almost half of all Americans polled , did not realize there was no NHL hockey being played this year !!!!!!!! What do you guys do all winter ! On a sadder note , i really belive this year is a goner. No new talks scheduled and well hey , in a couple of weeks we`ll be in Janurary. There was no mention of a salary cap in the NHLPA `s proposal , so it took the owners all but an hour to deliver it back without even trying to discuss any consessions .

I believe both sides came to the point that more money and more money and yes more money was wanted , solely on the backs of the buying public ....and we dont even have a say !

Sure we have a say..We boycott from buying NHL merchandis and watching it on TV or buying Tickets..Last I heard it was $289.00 to set in the lower bowl at a Maple leafs game..How crazy is that anyway? I was there in 1985 and it was 22.50 to sit in the Gold seats in Maple leafs gardens..I personally think the players have gotten so dam greedy that the game as a result is in the current state..

My vote, Brian Burke for commissioner.. :icon_thumb:

Oh and watch out MAjor league baseball. You in for the same thing.. imp:

Don't even get me started on this,
Hockey season in my eyes has been in full swing since Sept.
3 kids playing hockey, My oldest playing varisity hockey at an indepent school some of the top schools in Mass,
Hockey at its truest form, No sqaundering about money playing for the love of the game, the competition,

Besides we have the greatest college programs, $10.00 seats $2.00 drinks

Owners say the players want too much, Players say they don't get enough,

Buying a cup how true it is, The owners offer top money to the top players so they can win a cup and then b**ch about payroll.

Who is right who is wrong,,,,,

Well got to run off to another hockey game now, Number 3 in the past 18 hours !!!!!

Well, another Sunday, and more surprises depending on how each looks at these NFL teams:

The Indy COLTS have been plugging away for years at the brass ring and if they can prove their metal against the Patriots, they look like they might could have an Excellent chance to grab the Top Crown finally!

Seems Bret Favre forgot who his receivers were and graciously handed the Vikings another nice Playoff spot in this race also.

Eagles will be pumped for Minnesota and ready to move on to the next step themselves.

Pittsburgh with a season full of Steel & grit will be pushing ahead on their own destiny.

Rams, so on and so forth, all these 8 Teams left, have something to prove.

I can't wait to park in front of the tube again next weekend and see who wants it the most. :eusa_clap:
