How many times have people tried to tweak internet explorer to compete with rival browsers capability to edit its look, then to download a wallpaper for it and get hijacked by newdotnet and/or hotbar and other malware ?

This tool was designed by microsoft for internet explorer 5 but works fine for version 6 as well. Download it and execute it. After the installation complete screen, shutdown then start internet explorer again. Right click on one of the IE toolbars and select customize. Then in the left window highlight the wallpaper logo and click ADD. Then click on the icon and select any of the wallpapers in its list. Restart IE and voila..

To add your own wallpaper pictures to draw upon they must be in the bmp format and placed in the C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Bitmaps folder.

Download from here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/previo...s/tbwlpapr.mspx

Enjoy
