Theme Xp Warning . . .

There are a lot of major sites that contain themes. One theme site I want to kind of hit on is Theme XP. Although, a very good site, you do need to watch out for spyware on there. When downloading visual themes, there will be .exe files that contain spyware with the theme. You do have the option to not install it, but be aware anyway about this. Usually the .rar/.zip files do not contain spyware, but always stay on your toes.

Hi Raistlfiren,

For someone who accidentally deleted his windows XP default themes(no windows cd) is he doomed?
Or is there somewhere that he can download XP Windows default theme?

Just wondering if there is.

All you would have to do is use windows explorer, go to c\windows\resources. Copy the themes folder, paste ti on your desktop, zip it and email it to the friend. Then have them unzip it to the resousces\themes directory.

Yes, that is where all of oyur themes are at. I also suggest for you to not download or use anything from themexp! All of their files look like they come witth spyware. Check out other places... I can list a few if you would like me too... Just ask...
