Can you tell me what you are looking for in the CPU usage? Because I didn't really see what I thought to be much difference

ok ,, this happened to me again this morn - sounds like a fan kicking on inside my main component. Sometimes it continues to run through the entire game ,, sometimes it shuts off while I am playing - sometimes it doesnt shut off until I close the game. As far as CPU usage ,, the only ones that run over 5 when this is happening AND when it is not happening is iexploreexe which runs anywhere from 15 or so, up to 38 and SystemIdleProcess which runs in the 50's and 60's

Install this before you begin gaming again and minimize it to the system tray. Then keep an eye on the temperature. I'm willing to bet your system is overheating and thats what is causing all the trouble.

Ok .. the temp was at 51 when I began playing the game and it slowly started climbing. It reached 65 and then whatever that is, kicked on ,, then the temp began dropping - dropped to 57 - fan still running - then I shut the game down, fan stopped running, temp started dropping. We are at 50 and holding right now. So .... ?

Thats getting high. You can try removing the side from the case cleaning it out then leave the side off and see if still gets high.

hmmm ,,, hate to be one to admit, that is something I have never done before. I will let hubby take the cover off when he gets home, as I am chicken, and he does it all of the time at the school he works at. So I will get back to you another day on that one.
I do have a question though ,, this software ,, do I leave it minimized on my screen or exit it until another time?
