HP losing time
Hello:
I am working on an HP 533w pavillion, I don't think it's very old but it is very messed up. The clock is losing time, I know that could be a sign of a bad cmos battery but there are no other symptoms. They do have both McAfee and Norton running (bad bad) but norton seems to disable itself when the pc comes up. I've reset the time and it goes back to some strange time, not even an even hour or anything. Any ideas?

Thanks for the article. However I did realize there was a software conflict, between norton and mcafee and when I rid the puter of norton using the symantec tool the time problem stopped......
