I have cable now =D , but.... My dads pc does not work with internet

His pc has a wireless router and it worked b4 with dsl. Now with cable it does not work. Do i need to install anything on his pc?




I'm not sure what section this should be, so i put it in hardware.

Make sure the wireless is enabled in the router. I would jus reset it to the default settings. Then create a new wireless connection from your dad's pc.

how do i make my settings default. Do i type that ip thing in my internet explorer?

Put this in the adress bar and click enter:

http://192.168.1.1/

Then look for the option to reset the routers default settings.

Its not letting me delete the wireless connection on my dads pc I tryed disableing it before i deleted also.

Then right click the connection/ select properties / wireless networks tab / highlight "internet protocol" / click properties

Make certain both automatic settings are ticked.

Click the wireless tab and see if there are any connections listed in the lower window
