AverTV Box9 DVI

Hello,

It's my first post here

I would like to ask about AverTV DVI box9. I know, it's impossible to connect to LCD by VGA port (cause in such a case PC & screen don't work properly), but I've got HP w2207H with HDMI port. So, how will this work:

PC (MSI X550 graphic card) -> DVI (cable) DVI -> AverTV -> DVI (cable) HDMI -> LCD.

Did someone try this cable configuration?

I called the Polish service, but they don't know (and I think, the man I spoke with, doesn't know anything ), and UK service don't answer me yet.

Help I prefer DVI version, for better resolution.

HDMI and DVI are same except HDMI carries audio.
So it should be ok using HDMI-DVI cable
You will need to route the audio some other way.
