Aren't computers unreal today?

So why do people spend so much time spamming and spying instead of doing something cool? On subject of spying, I am using Trend Micro antispy ware 3.0 Venus Spy Trap, but there is something not quite right with it, as it has given me a couple of error messages, but for the most part I like it alot. One error I always get is if I want to veiw log, it says" Unable to view log file at this time. [SPYSUBTRACT] Error=2. Error#: 0x1ba" and the other I have gotten is unexepected error x800040003 was encounterd.. After I do view log, it gives me the error message and then crashes or exits. All updates are current. I contacted their help via e-mail but even after totally un-installing an reinstalling, it remained the same. I am truly novice at this, so any advice or suggestions will be most welcomed!

Im not really of the understanding of why spammers spam or malware writer write but I suspect because of money. Perhaps someday all will be different but for now atleast we must be vigilant.

As for Trend Micro antispy, i have never tried it but now will be looking for a trial version to test it out..

Welcome to the forums! Were glad to see you here. I must agree with Mobo, that I do believe most spam is done because of money. One day it will come to an end, though I do not know when...

I am also not sure about the error that your recieving when you use TrendMicro. Checkout NOD32 Anti-virus. It has been very good to me.
