Here are some stats for the last 97,224 visitors who have surfed by:
Operating system # % Windows 95840 98.5 % Unknown 947 0.9 % Linux 302 0.3 % Macintosh 135 0.1 % FreeBSD I sure would like to know the unknown if linux was only .3 %

No, cookies have nothing to do with it. Its identified by the connection when made to the server by means of the connection.
