Microsoft Antispyware Beta 1 released

The latest program to throw its hat into the ring is the long awaited Antispyware from Microsoft. This program was previously known as Giant antispyware and in a recent takeover by Microsoft we are pleased to make this announcement today..

The beta1 download is located here for any users interested in trying it out. Be sure to auto update it as well and if you havew any Giant antispyware installed it must be removed prior to installation.

Did try it actually and it so far raises an eyebrow with all its features and running protection with low cpu usage..Looks like a keeper to me but its early..

Heard some talk about issues with the EULA , but didn`t follow up on them . Post back after a bit and give us some remarks.

Also as an aside to add to the above, it's also a SYSTEM REQUIREMENT to have the very latest IE browser Version 6 in order use this new program.

If not, the installer itself will identify & reject installing on browser version 5.5 or below by default.

700mb80min, I'm using it and yes, I did read the EULA but it's no worse than the EULA on XP to be honest. You can opt out of some of the featuresbut I chose not to. On the first pass it found some mighty nasty stuff that nothing else had found but now it's coming up clean every night. It does a scan at 2AM every night. Liz

Hahaha... Everyone is complainging about Spywares Anti-Beta... It is soo good it likes too clean the main source out of your computer. The Internet....
