A denial of service problem has been detected in the 3Com OfficeConnect ADSL Wireless 11g Firewall Router, according to the Open Source Vulnerability Database.

This vulnerability is caused by an error in the handling of UDP traffic, and can be exploited by generating large quantities of UDP traffic. This security problem could allow a remote attacker to interrupt the operation of the device leaving the affected computer without connection.

The vulnerability is resolved in version 1.02.15 of the device, which 3Com has released.
