TrojanHunter updates
TrojanHunter 4.5 !
The current version is 4.5 (Build 916) « Mar 23rd, 2006, 11:02am » "TrojanHunter 4.5 is released, and the next update is included. All users should update ! I will start posting update notifications again as of the next update. I recommend ensuring you remove TrojanHunter 4.2 completely first, including rebooting and deleting its files.. however "upgrade" installs should work as should installing without uninstalling. Ask in the relevant forum section if you need help, or see the FAQ section on how to install TrojanHunter. Once you get 4.5 installed, LiveUpdate will enable you to get a small incremental update including even more new rules. Please report any issues, however we do not expect any. 4.2 is FAR superseded just by the incremental updates, but also by numerous bugs fixed and some scanner improvements. Even the stop button works great now Cheesy Cheesy There is absolutely no point to use 4.2. When you install 4.5 you already have more rules, even if you can't update. New in version 4.5: - The big new feature: Incremental updates! No more downloading 3.5 MB files - updates should be very fast to download even on a modem - This version allows trial users to run LiveUpdate to update their rule files. - Simplified license installation (just double-click the License.tlf file in the license email!) - You can use the trial version even if you've trialled TrojanHunter before, so take this opportunity to test drive the program!
