winrar question

i downloaded a file that is divided into parts that i need to extract. the problem is, winrar doesnt even acknowledge that there is more than 1 part, it just extracts the first part then errors. I assume it doesnt know there are more parts because the bar on the bottom fills up fully before it errors. Anyways, is there a way to fix up the files so they extract properly?
