I've never done that before. And I have two I want to try out before I go live and yet I don't want to clutter up my databases with them. Liz

Have you tried either [Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...] or 127.0.0.1?

Uhhh.... Liz there is nothing to setup for those... You need the apache http server or some other type of web server of your choosing... I could get on my webserver very easily by disconnecting the internet and typing 127.0.0.1... Can you go into a little bit more detail then on what your doing?

Yes, mobo, a test forum.

I have my apache http server set up cause if you type in [Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...] you will see exactly that. That's my new domain. And it's running off MY server. I also have [Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...] and you will see the home page (I HOPE) for Priority Computers. I haven't switched [Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...] yet to our server.

We are still having issues with the server/firewall/ftp/control panel. And we aren't sure exactly where the problem is. Liz

Ill assume that Vbulletin has a similar feature to Invision Power Board where i can disable the forum for any user group wish. By doing so you can leave it open to administrators only.

Another thing would be to password protect the forums directory on the server.
