freeware version of Publisher?

Does anybody know of a non-spyware infested freeware version of M$ Publisher? Thanks

Hmmm... I would suggest Open Office located : http://www.openoffice.org/.
I can not really think of any other way to get it freely or legally. :/

I meant just a publisher type application, I would never pirate software. I have publisher with 2003 but it's not compatible with win98 and i didn't really want to buy it, it's not for me. I will check out open office thanks

If compatibility issue is what your problem is then try this. Install publisher on the old Win98 and try right-clicking the executable file on your computer and see if you can't set the compatability mode to work with Win98... You can see what I mean by going to C:\ProgramFiles\(The Program) and right clicking an executable and you can see what I mean... Im not too sure if you can or not, so I will see if I can't find any information over it...

Here is a webpage that may be able to help you... http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...appcompat.mspx I just don't know if you can do that in windows98. (Skip down to setting the compatability settings to manual in the document)
