I created a restore point and then I did the system restore. I tried Dec 1st, Dec 27th and Jan 1st. All of them came back as incomplete no changes to your pc. Do I need to restore back in Nov. or can I only go back so far? The problem started in Dec.

You can try back further yes then always go back to today since you created a fresh point earlier.

I am at a lose tonight with this. I tried to go back to Nov.27 and still comes back as incomplete no changes. I will have to try again tomorrow. Sometimes you just need to walk away. If you have anymore ideas with what to do please let me know. Signing out for tonight and thanks again for all your help. I am learning from this.

I ran the sonic update and once again , I am having the same problem. Is it possible the burner might just be bad?

Thanks again, I will try that. Busy week so I probably won't be back on here for a while.
