yes, those are from when i had microsoft antispyware stop vlavmm.exe from running. thats why its in the deactivated files folder.

ok, i got all that stuff done, came out clean with the adaware after the 2nd scan, ran spybot and it found some stuff. now i am in the process of running the mwav scan and will let that go overnight. ill post the results tomorrow morning.

Looks like you got them. Delete the C:\!Submit folder. Click [Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...] to download System Security Suite. Extract it from the zip file into a folder and doubleclick on sss.exe. Check the boxes under the 'Items to Clear' tab and click 'Clear Selected Items'. You will be prompted to reboot, do so. Repeat for all log-in accounts on your computer.

The first 3 lines of the scan are a bit vague. Follow this sequence:

1. Right-click My Computer>Click Properties>Click the System Restore tab>Check the box next to 'Turn off System Restore on all drives'>Click Apply>Click OK.

2. Reboot.

3. Repeat the process but this time remove the check from the box.

Let me know how it's running now.

could you kindly rephrase that last part about the system restore. i dont think i understand what i do in step 3. which process do i do? the sss.exe?

done, and my computer is running wonderfully. ill tell you guys if anything odd happens. but it looks as if all the viruses are gone. kudos to all you guys. :icon_thumb: :clap: great work!!
