If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardward or [Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...] is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memor options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode.

this is for my uncles step grandsons pc.. he wants to know if i could get it to work again..

plz help me someone.


btw, he has no disk for this computer and its a windows xp professional.(it was custom built, no cds)

Alright well for the first method i have no clue what the first part is saying so im going to skip to the second method..

Method 2: Damaged File System

loadTOCNode(3, 'resolution');If the second parameter (0xbbbbbbbb) of the Stop error is 0xC0000032, the file system is damaged.

If this is the case, restart the computer to the Recovery Console, and then use the chkdsk /r command to repair the volume. After you repair the volume, check your hardware to isolate the cause of the file system damage.

To do this, follow these steps: 1.Start your computer by using the Windows startup disks, or with the Windows installation disk if your computer can start from the CD drive.2.When the Welcome to Setup screen appears, press R to select the repair option.3.If you have a dual-boot or multiple-boot computer, select the Windows installation that you want to access from the Recovery Console.4.Type the administrator password when you are prompted to do this.

Note If no administrator password exists, press ENTER.5.At the command prompt, on the drive where Windows is installed, type chkdsk /r, and then press ENTER.6.At the command prompt, type exit, and then press ENTER to restart your computer.If this procedure does not work, repeat it and use the fixboot command in step 5 instead of the chkdsk /r command.

His computer did not come with any installtion disc and it is a windows xp pro. i have windows xp home disk and stuff. could i use any of my disc that came with my pc for this? Or would it have to be only for the disc that would of came with his pc.
