Hijack This Check

I did a virus scan with BitDefender ,,, found 6 virus bodies ,, were only able to move two ,, thought I better have someone check this out and see what is going on.

Hi der. Lets have you rescan again and insert a check next to these items then close all other open browser windows then click "fix checked"

Then open windows explorer and right click on the clientman folder in program files and delete it.

Navigate to the C:\Windows\Temp folder. Open the Temp folder and go to Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder.

Go to Start > Run and type %temp% in the Run box. The Temp folder will open. Click Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder.

Finally go to Control Panel > Internet Options. On the General tab under "Temporary Internet Files" Click "Delete Files". Put a check by "Delete Offline Content" and click OK. Click on the Programs tab then click the "Reset Web Settings" button. Click Apply then OK.


Empty the Recycle Bin

Then rescan and if anything is found , take note of its location and post it here.

I want to tell you something else I did while waiting for your reply. Recently, my daughter downloaded AOL messenger and Weatherbug on my puter. I never had problems until she did this ,, so I just uninstalled both programs ,, dont know if that makes any difference to you ,, but thought you might want to know
