Restore point? No I have not ,, didnt think of that - should I try that before I run this utility ( which I was able to download ) ???

Yes ,, I have windows xp ,, cd rom and msn messenger

Ok, multiple computers and the same result. Do you have a router or something that enables the two computers.

In answer to your question about the routers no ,,,,
BUT ,, everything works now! Go figure.
The fact that it was both computers giving the same problem led me back to thinking it was my server, even though they said no, it was not. SO ,,, I had to go into town ,, went to the school where hubby works and tried their computer ( which is DSL ,, I am dial up ) and ,, lo and behold ,, the same thing happened there! Finding that, I figured when I returned home, I would call my server yet again :blablabla: and question this. But, when I got home and tried my computer ,,, everything works again! :eusa_clap: I am assuming that means it was my server in the very first place. You think?
I'm sorry Mobo ,, one ,, for not getting back here quicker but I had 7 clients to attend to before I could ,, and two ,, for taking up your time when all the time my server was to blame. I figure your time is a bit more valuable than that - so hope I didnt take you away from something.
I appreciate you being here tho ,,, I would have been having bigger fits had I not had somewhere to go and question things (((hugs)))~der~ :tiphat:
