Taskmgr, Desktop screen hijacked

My laptop got infected by Ultimate Defender a fake virus removal program that is a virus. I have cleaned off the virus using McAfee and the AOL virus cleaning programs. My Taskmgr no longer works. I can not change the image on my desktop though other preferences work. The computer also is unstable and has shut down problems. It seems that tasks are running and they will not turn off during shutdown.

Below is the Hijack This output.

Thanks for any help or suggestions. Rolland
