Hi Paul. First please copy save this post into anotepad file and save it on your desktop:

Then reboot into safe mode as per this:
How to boot into safe mode


Then right click start / explore

Now in the tree click on Local Disk (C) / windows / system32

Now in that folder is a file named f3pssavr.scr

Right click on it and delete it. Then if sucessfull reboot normally.

Mobo, I rescanned with Trend Micro and came up with the same ADW FUNWEB.Q Virus. This **** thing won't go away!! Here is what it said this time.

Well paul for starters you really have not much to worry about so dont get stressed. Its located in the system volume folder which is the system restore folder./ It cannot hurt the system unless you did a system restore to the point that the malware was running.

What you do is go to the control panel and click the system tab. Then click the system restore tab and tick the option to turn off system restore.
