It only happenned once and I don't remember what it was (I am in the habit of killing them as soon as they pop up). By the way, I don't normally use IE; I have MSN Premium with MSN Explorer. It consists of McAfee Firewall and AV. MSN Explorer also has Popup Guard. When I got that last ad, I had IE open; I am still trying to figure out why I can't open IE in a full screen.
