Internet storage space

I dont' know that this is the correct forum, but I am looking for some free temporary internet storage space. I have a customer who wants me to transfer 7gigs of music to her new laptop. I'm not sure a cross over cable will work so I thought I could back it all up to some free storage and then download it to the new laptop. Thanks

7 gigs is way over limit for internet storage and it would take quite a while to get it there as well. Buy two dvd's and burnn it all..

You think two DVD's would do it? I don't need a dvd burner to burn to a dvd? I know, dumb question.

One dvd holds 4.7 gig so yes 2 would suffice and yes a dvd burner is necessary.

Yes a DVD burner is necessary it would be nice though if it were forward compatible. This is an older dell no dvd burner, but I noticed there's a dvd burner on the desk of my colleague so I have been 'hinting'. I myself don't have a DVD burner yet.

The other option is to put it on your network and use file transfer but if its a work network theni wouldn't set it up..Other than that, upload em somewhere to multiple accounts perhaps.

I'm thinking if I grab that portable burner off my colleague's desk....
I can't add this laptop to our network because I'd be in a lot of trouble, however where this laptop comes from I installed a DVD burner on one of their other computers I could transfer the files to the computer with the dvd burner and burn them from there. Man what a hassle, who the heck has 7 gigs of music. Most older computers don't even have a 7 gig hard drive!!
