Msconfig will not run in XP

I can not get msconfig to run. I type in "msconfig " and the hour glass starts the disappears, sometimes I do not even see the hourglass. I have run Norton Antivirus, Trojan Remover, Spybot, and Lavasoft Adaware nothing detected. I can run Taskmanager and regedit with no problem but not msconfig. I have downloaded the "emergency utilities program" it will not work. Everything else works but not msconfig. Does not make sense, and yes I do have Administrator rights. I am at the point of running a repair install but will that work?

I am running a dual boot system with Vista on a second hard drive so it will be a lot of work if I have to do the repair. There is seven svchost.exe host running right now and I don't know why. In processes running in both Taskmanager and in Spybot msconfig.exe shows it is running in the background. I really do not want to do a repair install so any help will be appreciated.

I figured out the problem. WindowBlinds caused the problem. I uninstalled the program and all is working. Strange that I have it installed for a few days with no problems.
