How would i go on about reformating.

Ok well. I want to reformat a damaged pc that has a blue screen at start up and it is a windows xp Professional edition custom made pc. I dont have the disc for it.. But i was wondering if i could reformat it with my windows xp home edition disc for my other pc. Would it work? or not because different drivers ect..

No that will not work, you need a Pro cd. Besides even if you did format how would you go about installing Pro back on with a Home cd ? From experience, blue screens are most always hardware issues, formatting would not resolve the issue.
Would you like to try to fix your blue screens? Do you have a Stop error #?
