it did 3 times and 2 of the other times i wasnt playin the game like when i start up my computer it happened there once and another when i was typing something [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif[/img]

You may have a motherboard problem but thats hard to tell from here.

Question

dang it not again my computer froze when i used it for 1 hour thens i opened the cover nad maked sure the ribbon was plugged in and then 6 hours l8er it freezes

It may be a bad ribbon cable. If you have a sppare pc try switching the ribbon cables around

no i dont got a spare pc [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif[/img] and its hard to unplug them i cant unplug one.. Also if thats the problem can I guy a ribbon and much will it cost. Also it just did it again like 15 minutes ago. And i have this pc for about 4 years now... I rebooted it so its just like a brand new pc but also can i buy a new ribbon and stuff price..

o and i cant take out the ribbons i dont wana break it so is there a way u can teach me how to take the 2 ribbons out

Its very easy.

First thing is do one complete exchange at a time so you dont get them crossed. Also you will notice that on one side there is a red stripe on the ribbon. That is important and must go in the same way they came out.

Just remove one end, replace it with the new then go onto the other end to minimize mistake possinilities.

i think i know what your sayin but just so i dont make any mistankes make it sound a little easier like what to do first like kinda like in this forma.

1. open cover
2. unplug red ribbon
ect. ect.

The ribbon isnt red. It just has a thin red strip down one side.

i know and theres like this blue one to next to it.. Do you meen like switch the spots that there pluged in.... And i dont think the ribbons lose cause i hear this noise in my pc like sounds like somethings stuck then it freezes..
