I have 2 problems I feel are related and I have been chasing them for over a month with no luck.

The system: XP SP2 all updates, IE6, AVG Anti-Virus, Ad Aware SE, CounterSpy, SpyBot, Ewido Security Suite, & SpyWareBlaster

Problem 1: I keep 3 IE windows open all day. When the screensaver starts sometimes when I click the screen to return to the open window the screensaver will close that window as it comes off.

Problem 2: I am reading something on one open window, when for no reason the computer will switch to another open window. This happens once or twice a day. I happens more often if I have a 4th window open but has happened at any time.

What has been done so far:
Hijack This: System Clean
CounterSpy: Weekly Scans, System Clean
AVG Anti-Virus: Weekly Scans, System Clean
Ewido Trojan Scan: Weekly Scans, System Clean
SpyBot: Weekly Scans, System Clean
Ad Aware SE: Weekly Scans, System Clean
AVG Scan in Safe Mode: System Clean

The system is clean, but the problems persist. If somebody can direct me where to look next as it appears that whatever is causing this is really buried. Also can somebody see a common denominator between the 2 problems? That might help diagnose and find the solution. Granted these are not major problems but I hate to be beat and like to keep the system operating correctly. Any help would greatly be appreciated. TIA

I hae bveen thinking hard about the issue and dont think its malware related. Its more like a periferal issue like maybe a dirty mouse or something..

That could be as I went to cordless mouse about the same time. The receiver is by the CPU I wonder if it is interference?
