I THINK I'm missing a command file

Okay, I think I mentioned that my husband got a copy of Windows 2000 Pro and we put it on my system? My problem is that during installation, it said I was missing the control.exe and if I wanted to skip that to hit enter, so I did and it finished installing.

So I go in and things look like they should, or so it appears. I come to find out that the control.exe is the process that controls the Control Panel which works seems to be working...however, I have noticed that it does freeze sometimes. But then again I have that problem with XP and it WASN'T missing files.

My question, I guess, is is it really missing in action if it seems to be working and if so, where can I download it to replace it? Liz
