No programs uninstaller...

Hey,

I was wondering if any of you guys knew the reason for the following problem. When I checked out my Add/Remove programs list, Ccleaner, and another freeware uninstaller i found hardly any programs located in the list... Hardly anything was listed in Add/Remove! It doesn't seem like I have a virus though due to the fact all of my programs are still intact and run with no problem. Some programs are still in the Add/Remove programs list too! Do any of you know the reason behind this? I would like to remove a few games, but I can't and I also can not remove programs!!! I can send over a ss if you guys would like...

There is a hidden icon cache file in your windows directory, ShellIconCache, which contains a copy of all the default desktop icons. It sometimes gets corrupted. If it does, your icons will go all black or they may display the wrong icons. If this happens, delete it and reboot.

Hmmm... I could not locate that file anywhere on my computer. I also tryed uninstalling my firewall that I previously added, and it did no good. I also did a system restore, but only made things worse, so i kind of corrected them by doing that to my last restore point. Any other ideas?

You must show hidden files & folders first.. Sorry. Then do a search for it and you should find it.

To say the least that did not help out also... I will list a few screenshots, to see if you can get anything from it, or get to know the question better. In my appwiz.cpl it has quiet a few more programs than mmy 3rd apps, but it still doesn't have any of my games, most of my programs, and etc...

So are any programs missing in add/remove programs or is it that they are not listed in ccleaner and the other third party app ?

In the 3rd person apps none of them are listed... (Well hardly) There are quiet a few more appz though in appwiz.cpl. Though it does not include all of my games in the appwiz, so i cant uninstall any o fthem by using appwiz, I also can not see specific programs in appwiz.cpl....
