I got this new optical wireless mouse

ok heres my new mouse i got http://www.microinv.com/mi/details.cfm?id=PD955P I installed it and everything.. (it works) But theres these 2 buttuns on the side that i dont like.. i like keep clickin them cause im use to a roll mouse wit only 3 buttuns (mouse 1) (mouse 2) (and middle one) so when i click them it goes back a page or goes up a page. Is there anyway i can disable these buttuns.?

I highly doubt it Jester. I have a moue here similar and have not been able to do that same thing. Check your manual since there is none online for it at this time.

Have you tryed updating the drivers for the mouse and looking to see if the new mouse driver will allow you to change what each button does? I know in the new drivers from Microsoft they do, but I am not sure about the company you bought it from.


I don't know if I could live without a mouse that has at least five mouse buttons. It is great when browsing the web, you don't have to click the back and forward buttons at all!

eh, lol now im use to it. I just put my thumb and pinky down on the desk (i dont need a mousepad anymore)

try the control panel under mouse .....has to be a way to disable buttons on this model. most i`ve seen you can do it from here.
