Desktop settings not saved
My desktop settings are not being saved. I can turn off auto arrange and arrange the icons to my liking but when I reboot they are arranged on the left of the screen. Same goes for Quick Launch. I can turn it on and it's there but when I reboot it's gone.
Any help would be appreciated. It's driving me nuts. |

I have the same issue. I have admin privs. The quick launch disappears and when I enable it again, it alphabetizes the icons. After I renamed two of them, it resorted to the correct alphabetical order. The desktop icons are in somewhat alphabetical order, but in three different series. I edited the NoSaveSettings value in the registry, but that did not work.
Finally, the demon resets my mouse to maximum double-click speed. This happens when it shuts down, but not when it hibernates or stands by. |
