some sound file cant be found it says

Whats going on? I want to change the settings of my defualt volume because i have these new headphones and they dont have a sound changer on them(its way to loud) and i would like to change the volume but i get this message.

cause i just got a new mic and i want to talk louder on the mic. like my voice activetion is sucking and stuff. i have to scream in the mic for me to sound normal.. Anyways i am going on my dads pc to get the file in the %system%\sndvol32.exe location
