1. Insert the Windows 98 CD into the CD-ROM drive.

2.Insert your setup boot floppy disk into the floppy drive.

3.Reboot your computer icon_thumb.gif

4.At the MS-DOS® prompt, type the following commands and press the <Enter> key after each command:
x: (where x indicates the letter of your CD-ROM drive)
cd win98
setup

A prompt to start Scandisk appears.

5.Press the <Enter> key.

6.When Scandisk has finished checking the hard drive, press the <x> key.
The Welcome to Windows 98 Setup window appears.

7.Press the <Enter> key.
The Microsoft Windows 98 Setup Wizard window appears.

8.Verify that c:\windows (Recommended) is selected as the default directory, and then click Next to install the Windows files.
The setup program prepares the Windows directory and checks for available disk space.
The Setup Options window appears

9.Click the appropriate option for your computer, and then click Next.

10.Blah Blah Blah continue on icon_thumb.gif

Not like you are actually interrupting. Besides, With a voice like yours, Chatty works!


New update: everything has finished and it wants me to load windows if I aggre with the Disclosure Agreement. I don't like the agreement, so I click no, and it stops me. Looks like I'm at loggerheads with MS. I'll have to call BG and get it modiified.
