Dude... I'm no super exper like MOBO but... Well, from what I recall from back in the day when I used to install win 98 what I liked to do was. Use fdisk and format... Then once I had an active partiton (c I used create a directory usually c:\winbkup and copy the entire cd to that directory and then run the installation from the HD. I did that because sometime when you install things in win98 it would ask for the cd, and no one ever knew where it was. But since the installation was from the HD it would never ask for the CD again. I'm sure he can explain better once he gets back if he decides to try like that.

Thanks for the input. Any and all suggestions are welcome. Let's see what MOBO says. At this point, I'de rather sandpaper a bobcat's a$$ than deal with this. I know this sucks for you guys. There has to be bigger and better issues than this one. Everyone has so much time invested in this, it is now like giving birth. "You don't want to , but you want to see how it comes out." I'm changin relegions if this gets back up and running. Maybe tattoo names of all the people who risked their lives trying to save this lil guy. Garranteeeee! last time I monkey with SFC while musing on the phone.

So Doc do you promise that???
Mobo loves this stuff, trust me on that. I'm pretty lost now and ready to throw the thing out the window as well, but don't you like a good challenge? Besides what else is there to do when it's snowing? Oh wait it's not snowing by you.

He'll be back and ready for round two. Kaddu, I had Doc Fdisk and format yesterday and that's when the error about DOS started. AACCKKK :censored:

Lets set the bios as

Floppy
CD-ROM
HDD

Then boot the sucker up with the cdrom and floppy in the drive. Also before doing that i want to ask about the floppy disk..

The process to making that properly is this..
Download this to the desktop [Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...]

Insert a floppy in the drive
Open "my computer"
Right click A drive and select format
Do a full format
When its complete then double click on the file you downloaded to start the loading to the floppy.

Then boot up with A drive set as first boot device and cdrom in the drive.
